The DACC offers many activities and programs for children. Some of the
programs and services offered by the DACC are free for members. Non-members of the DACC
pay a nominal fee for classes or activities.

Fun Daze Activities
|
|
We offer a Fun Daze club on a variety of school holidays and vacations at the DACC. This program offers a wide variety of activities including arts and crafts, health and fitness class, outdoor play, recreational games and swimming. Ages 5 - 12, Full day program only (7:30 am - 6:00 pm) Fee $40.00/members $50.00/ non members prices are per day. |

DACC Elementary, Middle and High School Activities

Elementary Movie Nights
|
This program is for elementary school children. The DACC will provide a movie with pizza
and popcorn for all who attend. The fee for this program is $3.00 for members and $5.00 for non-members.

Home School P.E.
|
|
This is a program designed to help the home-schooled children get the exercise that they need to meet the basic physical fitness needs. This is an 8-week program for ages 6 and up that consists of different group activities and games. The program will run for 1-½ hours. Your child will spend 45 minutes in the gym for some games and 45 minutes in the pool for free swim.

Duanesburg Youth Basketball League
|
Kids will love the DYB Program! They will learn the fundamentals, make new friends and have a great time.
This basketball program is geared for girls and boys grades 2nd - 7th and is based on the values of participation and sportsmanship. Participants will have fun while learning basketball rules and developing their skills through practice and game play.

Summer Camp
|
The DACC offers a summer camp certified by the NYS Health Department and Schenectady County. This program offers a wide range of activities for children ages, 5 - 12. The DACC Summer Program includes educational activities, and will build self-esteem, confidence, and leadership skills. Above ALL, campers will have FUN! Kensho-Do Karate
|
|
Martial Arts can be defined as any one of several systems of unarmed self-defense. They are systems of physical and mental exercise which help to develop the total person. The martial arts give the student the opportunity to acquire a strong, flexible, highly skilled and graceful body. Since they exercise every single muscle of the body, they are considered one of the most all around methods of physical fitness. Classes are every Monday and Wednesday. Stop in for one free class.

Men's Basketball League
|
|
This program is designed for men who want to play basketball in an organized, competitive league format. The league will consist of an intramural game schedule and playoffs at the end of the season. Jerseys and referees included.

Co-ed volleyball league
|
|
The volleyball league is designed for men and women who want to play volleyball in a competitive, four person format. Leagues consist of an intramural game schedule and playoffs at the end of the season. Teams now forming please call to register.

Pickleball
|
|
Pickleball is a combination of ping-pong, tennis, and badminton. It uses a simplified combination of tennis rules and strategies. Members can play for free, non-members pay just $3.00. Call the DACC for more information.
