| Construction Financing Plan Established - 90% Achieved, Only $500k to Raise!

This community center construction project represents a $5 million investment into the Village of Delanson.
With a number of state grants, legislative support, private donations, and limited amount of bank financing,
the community center has firmed up a $4.5 million package, leaving only $500,000 for the final fund raising task.

The DACC is actively organizing the public portion of its Capital Campaign to raise this final 10%, or $500,000,
through private donations, and welcomes assistance from anyone interested. This portion of the campaign will
leverage radio and television public service announcements to ensure outreach to all neighboring communities,
and also our friends and supporters throughout the Capital Region.

 Vehicle Donation
You can donate your car, boat, truck, RV, Jet Ski or snowmobile to the Duanesburg Area Community Center and receive a tax deduction. This no cost, no hassle process begins
when you contact our fundraising partner, Donation Line LLC at 877-227-7487. Make sure to ask for our extension, 2384. Or you can click here, "Donate Your Car Now", and complete the Vehicle Donation Form on line. Make sure to select Duanesburg Area Community Center from the dropdown list. Please have your title in hand when you donate.

The GE Foundation Matching Gifts Program supports GE employees and retirees in their personal philanthropy and fundraising efforts. This involves matching individual contributions of $25 or more to social services, disease research, environmental organizations, hospitals, museums, public and private schools, colleges and universities, and more. Today, the Matching Gifts Program continues to serve as an important element of the GE Foundation portfolio, with gifts matched in 2007 totaling $37.8 million.

Volunteer
The DACC has many volunteer opportunities for individuals and families. The Community Center has current openings for Board members, committee members, and volunteers to support community activities and special events.
